Project overview
St Bede’s College located in Chisholm is a future-focused secondary school that blends bold architecture with flexible, adaptive learning environments. As the first secondary school in the Diocese of Maitland - Newcastle since 1984, this $80 million project was designed to support a rapidly growing region and an evolving style of education.
GX Outdoors' contribution
We were proud to be part of this project by supplying a tailored suite of outdoor furniture and shelter solutions. Each product was carefully selected to align with the school’s vision for a flexible, future-ready campus, delivering long-term, low-maintenance, weather-resistant products. Our Red Gum and Riverside Cantilever Shelters provide year-round protection and help define key gathering areas across the grounds. The Metro Table Setting and Shelters create compact breakout spaces for student connection. Hyve Table Settings support outdoor study and social activity, while Bench Seats offer durable seating for everyday use. Integra EX Bin Enclosures were also installed throughout the grounds, supporting a cleaner, more sustainable learning environment.
