Project Overview
Set along the stunning coastline of Raby Bay, this park has become a new favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Delivered by Redland City Council, the park features ample open space, a footpath connecting the park to the coastline and nearby marine assets such as a canoe jetty, and a spacious track designed to cater for bike and scooter play. This valuable community facility is the perfect place for children to immerse themselves in outdoor activity and a great location to connect and spend time with family and friends.
GX Outdoors' Contribution
Playing a pivotal role, GX Outdoors has elevated the park through an innovative and custom-designed appeal. Blending functionality with modern creativity, The Riverside Cantilever Shelter was tailored to highlight the park’s unique character, adding a distinctive element to the park. Continuing the theme, the customised HYVE Table Setting and Bench arrangements were the finishing touch combining sleek aesthetics with long-lasting durability.
Impact on Raby Bay
Division 1 Councillor Wendy Boglary highlighted the park’s significance in promoting cycling confidence and road awareness, making it a welcoming space for all ages. Redland City Mayor Karen Williams emphasized the broader impact of the enhancements, ensuring that Raby Bay Esplanade Park is a source of pride for locals and a drawcard for visitors. With its thoughtful design and innovative features, the park has become a destination where families can connect, unwind, and create lasting memories together.
