The Newcombe Park upgrade was part of the City of Joondalup’s Park Amenity Improvement Program, which aims to enhance public open spaces in higher-density residential areas. These upgrades are particularly valuable in communities with limited backyard space, helping to create accessible and welcoming environments where residents can relax, socialise, and connect with nature.

GX Outdoors was proud to support this initiative with a suite of high-quality, Australian-made products designed for durability, comfort, and community use. Products supplied for this project included the AKORA Cantilever Shelter, Edge Double BBQ, Integra EX Table Setting, Integra EX Park Seat, Integra EX Park Platform, and the Reviva Drinking Fountain.

All products were powder-coated in a striking combination of bright oranges and blues, reflecting the lively character of the local community and contributing to the park’s energetic, family-friendly vibe.

The Reviva Drinking Fountain includes an integrated dog bowl, ensuring hydration for every member of the family – even the four-legged ones. Meanwhile, the Integra EX Table Setting and seating options provide comfortable places for picnics, gatherings, and casual outdoor dining.

Where applicable, products were designed to meet DDA compliance standards, including accessible seating and clear spaces for easy movement and usability. These features ensure that Newcombe Park is an inclusive space where everyone in the community can feel welcome.
