Project Overview

Freshwater Park, a well-loved community space in Sydney, offers recreation, relaxation, and serves as an important route for cyclists. As part of Strathfield Council’s upgrades, the park has been refreshed to improve accessibility, safety, and connectivity while enhancing its natural landscape. These improvements create a more cohesive and inviting environment for families, pedestrians, and cyclists, supporting community well-being, encouraging outdoor activity, and strengthening the park’s role as a vibrant local gathering place.

Our Contribution

GX Outdoors was proud to supply a semi-customised Edge BBQ for the upgraded park. Finished in the council’s signature blue, it features precision laser-cut designs of the park and council name, combining functionality with striking visual appeal. Our semi-custom capabilities allow us to tailor furniture to suit specific spaces, colours, and branding requirements, ensuring each installation feels unique and purposeful. In this project, the BBQ not only provides a durable, easy-to-use amenity for the community but also reinforces the park’s identity and connection to Strathfield Council. Small design choices like this elevate the visitor experience and demonstrate how customised outdoor furniture can transform a public space.
