Youth Entertainment Space, Huntingdale WA

Project overview

The Sutherlands Youth Entertainment Space (YES) is part of the bold new $6.5 million youth plaza in Perth, designed to bring young people together through sport, movement and connection. The transformed area features competition-grade skate parks, a half-court basketball court, parkour course, shaded seating and picnic areas. Driven by the City of Gosnells, the project focuses on creating a safe, inclusive space where young people can be active, social, and supported in their local community.

GX Outdoors' contribution

Supporting the park's vision, GX Outdoors played a key role in delivering comfort and functionality to the space by supplying durable, Australian-made park furniture. Sutherlands Skate Park features a range of products from our Moda suite including Table Settings, Park Seats, Benches, and our newest addition, the Moda Day Bed, inviting park users to relax and enjoy the outdoors in a whole new way. To help keep the area clean and well-maintained, our Integra EX Bin Enclosures were also installed. Stylish, long-lasting and built for high-traffic use, our furniture supports the park’s goal of creating an inviting social space for young people and families to come together to enjoy.
