Armadale Line Upgrade, Perth WA

Project overview

 The Armadale Line Upgrade in Perth, WA is reshaping the station precinct into a safer, more connected, and more welcoming public space for the community. As part of the broader METRONET program, Armadale Station has been rebuilt as a new elevated station through the town centre, with level crossings at Armadale Road, Forrest Road, and Church Avenue removed. Alongside the rail infrastructure, the project is creating improved public realm outcomes around the station, helping strengthen connectivity, support accessibility, and deliver new spaces for people to move through, meet, and spend time in. 

GX Outdoors' contribution

 To support the upgraded precinct and wider transport network, GX Outdoors supplied a range of durable outdoor furniture and public space infrastructure throughout the project. This included Akuna Drinking Fountains, Charge N Chill Stations, Orbella Platforms, Moda Table Settings, Park Seats and Benches, Metro Bin Enclosures, and Citistyle Hoops. Designed for high-use public environments, these products help create practical and comfortable spaces for commuters, visitors, and the local community, supporting a more functional and activated station environment.
