Project Overview

Strengthening Newcastle Airport as a key regional transport hub and supporting future growth and international connectivity, the upgrade included a major expansion of the Arrivals terminal and runway, increasing the airport’s capacity from 1.2 million to over 2.5 million passengers annually and enabling the process of international aircraft. The project features a modern, spacious terminal with improved pick-up zones, digital wayfinding, and sustainability-focused design targeting a 5 Star Green Star ‘As Built’ rating.

Our Contribution 

Working alongside B & K Revegetation & Landscaping, GX Outdoors supplied Integra EX Bin Enclosures for waste management, and Integra EX Park Seats with a TimberImage finish. Durable and low maintenance, these aluminium products provide functional and visually striking outdoor furniture for the upgraded terminal. Designed for high-use environments, they deliver long-term performance while complementing the modern architecture of the terminal and creating comfortable spaces for the passengers.
